Introduction of Maths working model of Quadrilateral
A quadrilateral is a polygon with four sides and
four vertices or corners. Sometimes, the term quadrangle is used, by analogy with triangle,and sometimes tetragon for consistency with pentagon (5-sided), hexagon (6-sided) and so on.
Quadrilaterals can be classified into Parallelograms, Squares, Rectangles and Rhombuses, Square, Rectangle and Rhombus are also Parallelograms.
Rectangle: A quadrilateral with four right angles, a rectangle is a type of parallelogram.
Square: A quadrilateral with four congruent sides and four right angles, a square is both a rhombus and a rectangle.
Trapezoid: A quadrilateral with exactly one pair of parallel sides (the parallel sides are called bases).
